Car stalls in water at Lieutenant Island Bridge in Wellfleet »

WELLFLEET – A car became disabled in water at the Lieutenant Island Bridge in Wellfleet around 12:30 PM Saturday. The driver was able to get out of the car and stand on the bridge. The vehicle will be removed when the tide goes down. The bridge to the island routinely floods at high tide.

Vehicle towing boat jackknifes on Route 28 in Centerville »

CENTERVILLE – A vehicle towing a boat jackknifed on Falmouth Road (Route 28) in Centerville around 10:45 AM Saturday. The incident happened between Phinney’s Lane and West Main Street. Traffic was detoured until a wrecker service could clear the scene. No injuries were reported.
