The Cape Cod Daily News and blogs site was set up so all the Cape Cod & Islands newspapers and blogs could be monitored and read from one place. The site was originally set up for my personal use. I wanted to be able to read all the local news as it is published daily without having to click around all over the net to 50+ websites.
Now all the local news headlines and blog posts can be scanned and/or read in way less time than before. The CCD website was originally built using the software that is now the Cape Cod Daily News Wire. The News Wire (or aggregator) currently tracks over 50 sources and picks up 200+ news stories on "big Cape Cod news days". Since the site was launched it has attracted a small following and a few links from users (thanks!). Your feedback and links are appreciated.
