Wequaquet Lake Boat Crash, One Transported to CCH [Photo Notes]

    ABOVE: At around 10:15 p.m. Saturday, Barnstable Police and Centerville-Osterville-Marstons Mills firefighters responded to the Wequaquet Lake Yacht Club at 150 Annable Point Road in Centerville after receiving reports of a boat crash with possible injuries. According to initial reports, one boat may have crashed into a second boat. Both boats were able to make it back to the dock. Two COMM ambulances and a rescue boat arrived on scene. Three people were evaluated. One young man was transported to Cape Cod Hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening. One of the HN photos above shows a patrolman speaking with boaters. HN was told that the vessel in the photo was not the one that crashed. The investigation into the cause of the crash was active and ongoing at the time the photos were taken.
