ROCHESTER – A large fire was reported at the SEMASS trash to energy plant in Rochester early Sunday afternoon. A third alarm response activated a Bourne engine to cover a Wareham fire station. Further details were not immediately available.
SANDWICH – Several ambulances were called to Sandwich shortly after noon Sunday for victims reportedly suffering from heat related issues. The scene was an apparent gathering on Quaker Meetinghouse Road at Route 6. Further details were not immediately available.
BOURNE – A four-vehicle crash on Route 6 westbound before the Sagamore Bridge caused delays for motorists. The collision happened about 11 AM. All occupants were able to get out of the vehicles and no serious injuries were reported. Mass State Police are investigating the crash.
DENNIS – No injuries were reported after two vessels collided about a mile off Bass River late Sunday morning. One vessel was able to tow the other until they met up with Dennis rescuers and made their way to Smugglers Beach in Yarmouth. The Coast Guard was also notified of the incident. Further…
