security patrol property check service

HYANNIS, MASSACHUSETTS — 5/5/2026 – According to a Barnstable Police Department social media post, a concerned resident’s call led officers to a storm drain on Ocean Street, where they found a mother duck patiently waiting beside the metal grate. Her ducklings had fallen in and were trapped inside. With quick help from the Hyannis Fire Department, the officers safely extracted the ducklings and returned them to their anxious mom. The feathered family was reunited and is doing fine. Police thanked the caller and firefighters for turning a potential tragedy into a happy ending.
