HYANNIS, MASSACHUSETTS – A man facing major child enticement charges out of Quincy, Massachusetts, turned a quiet Sunday night into a chaotic pursuit, attempting to evade Barnstable Police on nothing more than a bicycle.
The drama kicked off around 10:30 p.m. on March 8, 2026, when a patrol officer recognized the wanted man, who’d been eluding capture for weeks, in the Hyannis area. The suspect pedaled furiously, drawing squad cars to the TJ Maxx parking lot in the Airport Shopping Center. Officers closed in and took him down near Eastern Bank, wrapping up the chase swiftly and without injuries.
Noe Soares, 30, currently residing locally, was booked on Quincy-issued warrants for Enticement of a Child Under 16 (a felony under Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 265, Section 26C), Annoying Telephone Calls or Electronic Communication (Chapter 269, Section 14A(a)), and Posing a Child in a State of Nudity (a felony under Chapter 272, Section 29A(a)). His attempted bike getaway earned him an extra Resisting Arrest charge.
The following Hyannis News (HN) video shows Soares apparently throwing up (or “stacking”) hand signs, sparking speculation about gang connections, though none have been officially confirmed to date. [DEVELOPING]
No new details have emerged as of early March 9, 2026, but HN is attempting to gather more official details from Quincy. Stay tuned for updates.
