YARMOUTH, MASSACHUSETTS — A dramatic high-speed pursuit on Route 6 turned chaotic early Friday morning when a woman led a Massachusetts State Trooper on a chase reaching speeds of 120 mph on Route 6, according to radio transmissions. She was arrested and minutes later accused the trooper of “rape” while in custody, according to HN observations and video.
The incident unfolded around 12:30 a.m. when the trooper tried to stop a gray Audi traveling eastbound on the Mid-Cape Highway, according to radio transmissions. The chase was called off as the vehicle exited at Exit 75 in Yarmouth. Moments later, a Yarmouth Police officer located the suspect parked at the bottom of the ramp at the intersection with Union Street, with the trooper and additional Yarmouth officers quickly arriving to assist.
HN video footage captured the woman, born in November 1988, appearing very uncooperative as she was placed into a state police cruiser. She was then transported to the Massachusetts State Police barracks in South Yarmouth for booking.
The following HN video footage also captured the scene outside the barracks, where the situation escalated further. As the trooper escorted her inside—with body camera activated—the woman yelled accusations of rape and demanded a Breathalyzer test. Shortly after, a Yarmouth Fire Department ambulance crew responded to treat a trooper who had reportedly been spit on in the eye, per radio reports.
The woman remains in custody, and authorities have not released further details on charges or the ongoing investigation. HN is actively working on gathering official details.
HN Reminder: The above report is based on police radio transmission and observations on scene. The defendant is presumed to be innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
*** Caution *** The following video contains extremely foul language directed at police by the suspect as she’s being escorted into the barracks for booking. Viewer discretion is advised.

ABOVE: Barnstable Police officers were on the scene of a possible active breaking and entering last evening, with the suspect potentially still inside. A careful check revealed that the suspect had already fled. The incident occurred at a residence on Murray Way in Hyannis. A member of the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Crime Scene Unit assisted at the scene with evidence collection and documentation. The investigation is ongoing.
ABOVE: Dennis Police patrol officers rushed to a Dennis Port address Wednesday evening after a man called to report that his roommate had just stabbed him in the eye. HN was on scene as officers discovered what really happened. It turned out the eye injury wasn’t severe, and the man was not immediately transported from the scene to the hospital; instead, he ended up being arrested. What initially sounded like a potential bloodbath turned out to be a fight between two young adult male roommates, with the caller being the one under arrest after all was said and done. The arrestee changed his mind about needing treatment for the alleged eye injury once he was being booked on domestic violence charges at Dennis Police Headquarters.
ABOVE: Barnstable Police officers arrested a Sandwich man earlier in the week who reportedly was wanted in Sandwich for Armed Robbery. The photo shows a Barnstable Police patrolman speaking with the passenger who was eventually released from the scene, while the suspect was in custody in the backseat of the police pickup truck. HN, due to time constraints, has been unable to gather additional details from the Sandwich Police Department regarding the “Armed Robbery” warrant. HN will provide updates as they become available.
