The scene was calm by the time HN arrived. A man from Florida was briefly detained in handcuffs while officers investigated. A woman with a chipped tooth was reportedly transported to Cape Cod Hospital for evaluation. According to one account, the man suddenly punched the woman in the face; he denies it happened that way. He was released while officers work to obtain surveillance footage. He may be summoned to court if the video shows he was the aggressor.       ABOVE: Early-morning HN photos from around Hyannis yesterday—a city slowly coming back to life.
