SANDWICH – A Sandwich resident is the winner of an ultramarathon in Antarctica.  Gretchen Swarr, a research association with the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute, won the Antarctic Ice Ultra 50k, finishing in 6 hours, 56 minutes, and 31 seconds.
