Cedric Cromwell, former chairman of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe, was sentenced to 42 months in prison for conspiracy to commit extortion, extortion and tax fraud by Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton in US District Court in Boston on Wednesday.
