Utah County prosecutors charged 20-year-old Tyler Robinson with aggravated murder and six felonies for gunning down conservative activist Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025. Unveiled September 16 by County Attorney Jeff Gray, who dubbed it “an American tragedy,” the charges – detailed in the following court docs – point to political motives and obstruction of justice. Prosecutors demand the death penalty.
