MARSTONS MILLS, MASSACHUSETTS –  [HN VIDEO NOTES]  –  As you will see and hear in the following HN Video, a woman was hurt after being “trampled by a horse” at a ranch on Main Street around 12:30 p.m. this afternoon, according to radio transmissions.  Responders were advised that the woman was alert and conscious.  According to sources on scene, the woman was badly hurt but expected to be okay, with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.  She apparently had just let the horse out of its stable when the accident happened.  The woman was transported to Cape Cod Hospital.  The horse was not injured.  One responder indicated that it was basically ‘a horse being a horse…’  (… of course.)  No further details were available at the time of this report.  The following Hyannis News video contains Barnstable PD radio transmissions and footage from the scene.  [HYANNIS NEWS VIDEO –  PRESS PLAY]
