WEST YARMOUTH, MASSACHUSETTS — A dark-colored SUV struck two pedestrians on busy Route 28 Tuesday night before speeding away from the scene, leaving one person injured and police with almost no leads. Yarmouth police and firefighters rushed to 518 Route 28, near Springer Lane, around 9:20 p.m. on June 23 after reports of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. CHATHAM – A bicyclist was injured in a collision with a car in Chatham. The crash happened sometime after 10 PM on Main Street (Route 28) by the Chatham Community Center. The victim was transported to Cape Cod Hospital with unknown injuries. Chatham Police are investigating the crash.

YARMOUTH – Two pedestrians were struck by a car in Yarmouth sometime after 9 PM Tuesday. The incident happened on Route 28 by Wicked Waves. The vehicle allegedly left the scene. Luckily the victims injuries did not appear to be serious. Further details were not immediately available.

CENTERVILLE, MASSACHUSETTS — A quiet family neighborhood was rocked last night when a speeding Dodge Ram pickup truck slammed into a tree on Quisett Road near the Centerville-Hyannis village line.
