Police Seek Public’s Help After 74-Year-Old Suffers Serious Injuries in Savage Centerville Road-Rage Attack

CENTERVILLE, MASSACHUSETTS – Barnstable police are asking the public for help identifying a suspect after a 74-year-old resident was violently assaulted in a road-rage attack in Centerville. The attack occurred Wednesday, Sept. 9, between 8 and 9 p.m. It began on Fuller Road and continued onto Marie-Ann Terrace. The victim sustained significant injuries and was treated at Cape Cod Hospital. Police described the suspect as a white male, about 30 years old, approximately 6 feet tall with a stocky build. He may have been accompanied by a second person in the vehicle. The vehicle was a newer-model dark Volkswagen SUV with an illuminated VW emblem on the front grille.
