HYANNIS, MASSACHUSETTS –  As you’ll see and hear in the following HN Video, everyone got a little cardio in this morning when Barnstable Police Patrol Officers engaged in foot pursuit after two males who were apparently fleeing from them in the East End at around 4:20 a.m. Both males were eventually captured and detained… and both males, a 19-year-old from Boston and a 21-year-old from Dennis Port, are said to have firearm related charges on their criminal histories, according to police radio transmissions. The alleged past firearm related charges were a concern as officers talked about a backpack that possibly went missing during the pursuit. A Barnstable Police K-9 unit conducted an article search, and it’s uncertain whether any evidence was recovered. According to police sources, neither of the two males have been criminally charged at this point in the investigation… and both were eventually released at the scene. The investigation is said to be ongoing… [DEVELOPING] HN Reminder: The details contained in the above report are based on police radio transmissions and information from police sources. Both males were initially detained and later released… and the investigation is said to be ongoing. Both males are presumed to be innocent unless officially charged with a crime and proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law. The following HN “video” contains police radio transmissions and images from this morning’s dramatic scene… [HN VIDEO – PRESS PLAY] P.S. – Today’s Hytown Vignette is brought to you by Jamiroquai… [CLICK IT/CRANK IT!
