WEST YARMOUTH, MASSACHUSETTS – [HN photo notes] – A chaotic scene unfolded early this morning when a three-vehicle crash sprawled across Buck Island Road at Jannor Way, prompting a swift response from police and firefighters around 12:30 a.m. The wreckage stretched at least 50 yards, with one vehicle stranded in the middle of the roadway and another lodged among scrub pines, forcing authorities to shut down Buck Island entirely. Emergency responders worked diligently to assess the situation, evaluating occupants from all three vehicles. Miraculously, no one required hospital transport, though the scene told a story of significant disruption. Amid the scattered debris, police quickly zeroed in on the driver of a red Toyota sedan, who exhibited clear signs of impairment. The driver, later identified as Ivaylo Ninosv, currently residing in South Yarmouth, struggled to maintain balance during field sobriety tests and was taken into custody after a portable breathalyzer test. Ninosv now faces serious charges, including Operating Under the Influence of Liquor, Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle, and a Marked Lanes Violation, according to police sources. Buck Island Road needed to remain closed until responders could clean up and clear the wreckage.  No further details available at the time of this report… HN Reminder: All defendants are presumed to be innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
