WEST YARMOUTH, MASSACHUSETTS – [DEVELOPING] – According to a 19-page sworn affidavit in support of obtaining a search warrant, a Special Federal Agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (“ATF”), described an ongoing investigation into two Brazilian National men residing in West Yarmouth. According to the affidavit, 22-year-old Alason Ferreira-Peixoto and 27-year-old Lucas Nascimento-Siva were allegedly dealing numerous handguns, rifles, and quantities of ammunition at various locations across Cape Cod, including the Yarmouth Resort in West Yarmouth, another residential address in Yarmouth, Home Depot in Hyannis, and a residential address in Centerville. A total of 5 Brazilian nationals residing on the Cape were part of the 18 arrested in a recent federal gun trafficking sting. According to a Department of Justice press release, 110 firearms were seized across the state during the entire investigation.  Furthermore, there is no way of telling how many illegal firearms had already hit Cape Cod streets, along with the streets in other communities across Massachusetts, prior to the multi-agency investigation and arrests. The video also contains audio of HN’s appearance on the Howie Carr Show Friday afternoon, discussing the above case, where numerous handguns and high-powered rifles were seized by Federal Agents during a number of highly surveilled, controlled purchases utilizing U.S. funds.
