HYANNIS, MASSACHUSETTS – Several police cruisers responded to a two-vehicle crash on Ocean Street near the intersection with South Street, at around 11:15 p.m. Friday evening. The extra squad cars responded because one of the drivers was reported to be possibly acting up. When HN arrived on scene, moments later, all was calm. All parties were separated and there was no evidence of a disturbance. Both vehicles had moderate damage. At least one of the vehicles had side air-curtain deployment. Both vehicles needed to be towed from the scene. Hyannis FD EMTs evaluated a total of six people. Two individuals were transported to Cape Cod Hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening. Four others refused further medical care. The Barnstable Police are investigating the cause of the two-car collision.
