[HN NOTES & MULLINGS ON THE MATTER] In early December, 2024, major news organizations began focusing on mysterious drone sightings over New Jersey and New York. Within days, HN also began receiving local reports, photos (see above), and cellphone videos of large drones hovering over Nantucket Sound, just offshore and near to our south-facing Cape beaches. CLICK HERE for initial HN coverage entitled, *** WATCH *** MYSTERIOUS “DRONE” SIGHTINGS OVER CAPE COD At the time of the aforementioned HN report, there had been no official word from our state or federal authorities regarding what these “drones” were, who was flying them, and why… … until yesterday, when incoming White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt read a brief statement from President Trump. The statement had reportedly just been given to her in the Oval Office prior to yesterday’s White House press briefing. The following HN Video begins with yesterday’s White House press briefing where Press Secretary Leavitt reads the brief statement to reporters, “From President Trump directly: an update on the New Jersey Drones. After research and study, the drones that were flying over New Jersey in large numbers were authorized to be flown by the F.A.A. for research and various other reasons. Many of these drones were also hobbyists, recreational and private individuals that enjoy flying drones… in time it got worse due to curiosity – – this was not the enemy.” While the new, very recently arrived administration is finally addressing the questions surrounding large drones being spotted hovering over populations along the Eastern Seaboard of the United States, many unanswered questions still remain. Are the drones seen hovering over Cape Cod also related to the New Jersey drones that were said to have been authorized by the F.A.A. (Federal Aviation Administration) for “research and other various reasons?” If so, what do they mean by “research?” And especially, what do they mean by “other various reasons?” Those three words, “other various reasons,” coupled with “research,” leave things wide open for inquisitive and/or worried minds, to say the least. As you’ll see in the following HN Video, Press Secretary Leavitt did not expand upon her brief statement which left a lot of people wondering, and wanting to know more… and HN was surprised that no other reporters pressed her more on the issue. To be fair, it was Press Secretary Leavitt’s very first White House news briefing (she’s the youngest White House Press Secretary ever – just 27 – God bless her…) and she had a lot of ground to cover after President Trump’s whirlwind first week in office, which consisted of visits to two separate natural disaster zones on opposite sides of the country, along with a large number of executive orders covering a wide range of controversial issues, ranging from the elimination of federal D.E.I. Initiatives, to securing the Southern Border. I expect others in the media will also have additional questions on the subject of these “weird drones…” and hopefully we’ll have more answers sooner than later… … because these were not your ordinary drones. And these were not hobbyist drones… … and yet I was only slightly relieved by – and I truly want to believe – Leavitt’s final words which punctuated the President’s brief statement, “This was not the enemy.” Well, let us hope so. The following HN Video contains Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt’s statement regarding “the drones.” It also contains exclusive December cellphone footage from local concerned citizens.
