What can I say? HN loves talking local crime and corruption with Howie Carr, and yesterday was no exception. These recent news cycles have been faster and more furious than normal, with new crimes and new tales of Massachusetts corruption popping up on a daily basis. For me, it’s exhausting and overwhelming at times. And I would imagine it’s difficult for most reporters who actually try to cover these unprecedented issues in earnest… and it has always amazed me how Howie consistently delivers timely content while seemingly handling it all in stride. He delivers radio news conversation and content every weekday from 3pm to 7pm. He also manages to write books, along with a number of columns per week for the Boston Herald. He once told me that he is able to read very fast – which is a huge help for anyone trying to keep up with just about everything seen and unseen. And when it comes to “politics” and “crime” (words that are often synonyms in our lovely “Commonwealth” of Massachusetts), Howie is one hell of resource with a bear trap of a memory.  And he also cracks me up.  They simply don’t make ’em like Howie anymore! The following HN Video contains Howie Carr Show audio, highlighting HN’s most recent radio segment with Howie, which initially aired yesterday at 6:30 p.m. While a lot of his content is drive-time news entertainment for commuters or those winding down their workday… it’s often much, much more that.  It’s actually, more often than not, the only real oversight there is in an increasingly lawless state that’s becoming more and more out of control on a daily basis.  So, press play… and by all means, don’t forget to “strap yourself in!” [HN VIDEO – PRESS PLAY!] P.S. – Today’s Hytown Vignette is brought to you by Billy Martin & Wil Blades…  [CLICK IT/CRANK IT! HEADPHONES ABSOLUTELY OBLIGATORY!]
