CENTERVILLE, Massachusetts – Barnstable Police and C.O.M.M. Firefighters responded to the intersection of Old Stage Road, Race Lane, and Oak Street for a two-vehicle crash shortly before 6:00 a.m. this morning. A woman (the sole occupant) was extricated from one vehicle. She was transported to Cape Cod Hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening. The driver of the second vehicle was not transported. Morning traffic was backed up as officials cleaned up the scene, which included vehicle fluids. First responders were still working the scene as 7:00 a.m. The Barnstable Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash.
