WAREHAM, Massachusetts – (PD Media Statement) – On September 29 2023, at approximately 10:49 am, patrol officers responded to Subway located at 2890 Cranberry Highway East Wareham, MA for a reported armed robbery where a firearm was shown. The suspect was masked, brandished a firearm while instructing the employees to open the cash register. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of US Currency out of the cash register and fled the store. No employees were injured. Wareham officers along with detectives, and a Plymouth County Sherriff K-9 canvassed the immediate area and where unable to locate the suspect. Officers did however locate what appeared to be a toy revolver wrapped in electrical tape in a nearby roadside ditch. Below are images of the suspect and the suspect vehicle. We are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying this Chevrolet Avalanche and/or its occupants.
