SOUTH YARMOUTH, Massachusetts – HN caught up to Massachusetts State Representative Steven Xiarhos in front of Yarmouth Town Hall yesterday, at a protest by citizens concerned about the Cape’s ongoing “migrant” crisis. In a brief interview, Representative Xiarhos shared an explanation about a bill he had just co-signed in an effort to repeal, or reform the state’s “Right to Shelter” law. (HN NOTE: The following interview was filmed and put together rather quickly in difficult lighting and variable noise. The top light on HN’s camera malfunctioned moments in – my bad – but adjustments were made to lighting and sound and the footage turned out satisfactory overall… sorry about that, those things happen in September late-day sun, etc…) [HN VIDEO – PRESS PLAY]
