Woman wakes up to strange man inside her bedroom…  [HN photos]

    CENTERVILLE, MASSACHUSETTS – [HN PHOTO NOTES] – At around 2:30 a.m. Saturday morning – 7/19/2025 – Barnstable Police squad cars rapidly made their way to an address on Phinney’s Lane in Centerville near the Hyannis line after a woman reported waking up to find a “strange individual” in her bedroom. The male intruder quickly fled the residence… reportedly making a swift getaway in a vehicle, according to an adult male witness who was also inside the home at the time of the intrusion. A member of the Sheriff’s Crime Scene Unit responded to document and collect evidence. Investigators were particularly interested in two large windows which may have been pried open during the break in. The Barnstable Police Department is looking into possible leads… and the investigation is active and ongoing.
