WEST YARMOUTH, MASSACHUSETTS – According to a Yarmouth Police media statement, Amber Seyffert, 47 of South Dennis, was charged with Trafficking Cocaine after an encounter with Yarmouth Police patrol officers last Thursday, 7/10/25. Vincint Silva, 29, of Eastham, was also charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class A Controlled Substance during the same encounter, according to the YPD statement.
According to the YPD media statement, last Thursday, shortly before 7:00 p.m., patrol officers encountered an Audi sedan with several individuals either inside the vehicle or standing nearby. The encounter took place in the vicinity of Brothers Food Mart on Route 28 in West Yarmouth. “An officer recognized the individuals as being associated with narcotics use and distribution,” the YPD statement reads.
While investigating, officers allegedly observed a used glass crack pipe inside the Audi sedan. Police say they then searched and uncovered 9.5 grams of Fentanyl, along with more than 15 small bags of cocaine weighing 29.5 grams total.
Seyffert and Silva were subsequently arrested on the aforementioned drug charges. Seyffert and Silva were both arraigned in Barnstable District Court last Friday.
A third individual, Nevin Campbell, 32, of Brewster, was also arrested during the encounter for an outstanding warrant, according to the YPD. Campbell was eventually released on personal recognizance, according to the YPD statement.
