security patrol property check service

HYANNIS, MASSACHUSETTS – [HN VIDEO NOTES] –  As you will see and hear in the following HN video, at around 11:00 p.m. last evening, Hyannis Firefighters responded to 30 Cit Ave for a report of a structure fire. Firefighters found two large boats with heavy fire in both of them, with flames spreading to nearby scrub pines and brush. As you will hear in a brief interview with Captain Jonathan Talin of the Hyannis FD, firefighters were able to ensure adjacent apartments were fully evacuated with the assistance of Barnstable police officers. Firefighters needed to force their way through a chain link fence in order to begin battling the flames. It took 30 to 40 minutes to bring the flames under control. At the time of this report, there’s no indication of what started the fire, which is still being investigated by the Hyannis Fire Department. A member of the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Crime Scene Unit responded to take photos of the scene. There were no reported injuries.
