WAREHAM, MASSACHUSETTS –  According to a Wareham PD media statement, this past Tuesday –  April 29, 2025 –  the Wareham Police Criminal Investigation Division, Wareham patrol officers, members of the Marion PD, and members of the Plymouth PD served three narcotic related search warrants on Dylan McCoog, 25, of Marion.  The warrants included the search of his vehicle and residence in Marion. The investigation involved the aforementioned police departments and included K-9 units from the Plymouth Police and Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office.  The joint operation resulted in the arrest of McCoog, and the seizure of large quantities of suspected Fentanyl, Cocaine, pills, drug related paraphernalia, and over $65,000 in U.S. Currency. McCoog was charged with Trafficking Fentanyl, three counts of Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B (subsequent offense), Possession with Intent to Distribute Class A (subsequent offense), Disorderly Conduct, and Assault and Battery on a Police Officer.  Dylan McCoog was arraigned at the Wareham Fourth District Court, and is currently being held on $20,000 cash bail.  “Chief Walter Correia Jr. applauded the collaborative effort between the multiple agencies involved in the investigation for taking potential lethal drugs off the streets,” the WPD media statement concludes.
