HYANNIS, MASSACHUSETTS –  As you’ll see in the following HN Video, Hyannis Firefighters and Barnstable Police Officers responded to an address on Wolley Road this morning, at around 4:43 a.m.  The first police officers on scene reported the house was fully engulfed with flames shooting out through part of the roof.  Firefighters arrived and started an offensive attack.  There was first a concern that there may have been an older man still inside the building, but according to radio transmissions and sources, that does not appear to be the case at the time of this report.  The bulk of the fire was reportedly knocked down in just under 40 minutes on the fire ground.  HFD appeared to have the situation well in hand at the time of the following video.  HFD is investigating the cause of the fire.
