***  WATCH ***  NEW FOOTAGE SHOWS MOMENT FRONT LOBBY COLLAPSES DURING ANTHONY’S CUMMAQUID INN BLAZE

YARMOUTH PORT, MASSACHUSETTS –  The following HN Video highlights reader aerial footage that captures the moment the front lobby suddenly collapses during last evening’s massive fire at the old Anthony’s Cummaquid Inn.  (Anthony’s has been closed and unoccupied for years…)  HN was in the vicinity of the large collapse and captured the immediate aftermath on camera. The collapse came close to one of the ladder trucks where firefighters had been working. It’s a good thing nobody was hit during the sudden collapse. The cause of the fire is still actively being investigated by Yarmouth officials and member of the state fire marshals office… [HN VIDEO – PRESS PLAY]   INITIAL HN VIDEO & REPORT: *** WATCH *** ANTHONY’S CUMMAQUID INN BURNS TO THE GROUND [DEVELOPING!] YARMOUTH PORT, MASSACHUSETTS – [HN VIDEO NOTES] – Crews arrived to heavy fire at the old Anthony’s Cummaquid Inn at around 6:30 p.m. Sunday evening. (Anthony’s has been closed and unoccupied for years…) A second alarm was struck in order to bring in mutual aid from other Cape fire departments. Walls and parts of the building were rapidly collapsing when HN was on scene.
