PLYMOUTH, MASSACHUSETTS –  According to a Plymouth Police Department media statement, at approximately 5:45 pm Friday   –  10/25/24 –  the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department Communications Center began to receive numerous calls reporting a shooting and a person suffering a gunshot wound in the public parking lot on Middle Street. The first arriving officer confronted the suspect and took him into custody without incident. The victim, a 41-year-old male was transported to the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth.  He was pronounced dead at 6:28 p.m. No names will be released until notification of the next to kin. The investigation remains active and ongoing.  [DEVELOPING]
