FALMOUTH, MASSACHUSETTS –  According to a Falmouth Police media statement, yesterday – Sept. 10, 2024 – detectives arrested Henry Toran-Sandlin, 21 of Falmouth on a warrant during a traffic stop. The stop took place on Spring Bars Road and the Toran-Sandlin was reportedly taken into custody without incident. The arrest warrant was the result of a six-month investigation into the alleged possession and distribution of child pornography. The arrest was the result of a joint investigation involving the Falmouth Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The case came to light when FBI agents out of New Orleans identified Toran-Sandlin during a separate inquiry. FBI agents allegedly discovered evidence of child sexual abuse material on Toran-Sandlin’s “Discord” account. Discord is a popular online communication platform initially designed for gamers. The Falmouth Police media statement continues as follows: Toran-Sandlin faces multiple charges including Dissemination of Visual Material of a Child in a State of Nudity or Sexual Conduct, Possession of Child Pornography, Distributing Obscene Material, and Photographing an Unsuspecting Nude Person. He was booked at the Falmouth Police Department and arraigned at Falmouth District Court. He was released on $7,500 bail with pre-trial conditions.
