YARMOUTH, MASSACHUSETTS – [HN VIDEO NOTES] –  A woman led Yarmouth Police officers on a high-speed pursuit down busy Rte. 28 last evening. Speeds reached approximately 60 miles per hour, according to YPD radio transmissions. Late last evening (sometime around 10:30 p.m.), Yarmouth Police patrol units responded to the Seine Pond condo complex in the area of 844 Route 28 for a woman reportedly in the parking lot harassing and yelling at another woman. The woman allegedly being harassed had a restraining order against the woman accused of yelling at her, according to radio transmissions. As you will hear in the following HN Video, at some point, Yarmouth Police officers attempted to stop a Honda CRV reportedly being driven by the woman with a restraining order. The woman in the CRV reportedly then failed to stop for police officers, according to radio transmissions. The woman then reportedly led officers on a pursuit along busy Route 28, traveling west from South Yarmouth into West Yarmouth. The pursuit ended in the parking lot of the Music Room entertainment venue and restaurant. The parking lot was full with vehicles when the suspect was taken into custody. The Honda CRV was towed from the scene.
