Cape Cod Day 3: Donuts,Popcorn and Pickles!

Over the years of visiting the Cape, my mom and I tend to find new places that become must-visits during future visits. In most recent years it has been Smith Family Popcorn and Captain Baker Donut Shop. Captain Bakers Donuts is a fun small little donut shop that offers build your own donuts. They also have a menu of suggested donuts to choose from as well. Captain Bakers also offers seasonal donuts that are always worth the try. My personal favorite is the S’mores donut.After visiting Captain Baker’s, my mom and I visited a Coffee shop that we had not been to before – Harbor Fox Coffee Bar. They offer a wide variety of drinks to try so there is bound to be something for you, especially with the amount of flavor syrups to choose from to add to your drink. The Smith Family Popcorn company has two locations on the Cape one in Mashpee and the other in Hyannis. They offer a variety of flavors that you are allowed to sample! Throughout the year they bring in some limited-time flavors. If you can’t decide on one flavor you can get a reusable tin that allows you to get up to 3 flavors. If you bring it back you get $3 off of your next purchase!  I love that they add a sticker with the year to the tin each time you bring it in, as well as stickers for each flavor.  My favorite flavor which has recently been made a permanent is Dill Pickle. After getting our popcorn fix we headed to get some lunch at Fresh Ketch. Where I tried fried pickles and a tuna sushi burrito. My favorite was the fried pickles.
