BREWSTER, MASSACHUSETTS – [HN VIDEO NOTES] –  The crash happened around 2:00 a.m. in the area of 419 Satucket Road in Brewster. A young male driver (appeared approximately in his late teens or 20s) was entrapped inside mangled wreckage after a rollover crash. Firefighters braced the vehicle and attempted to free the driver. Brewster police officers were also on hand assisting in the rescue effort. It was a lengthy extrication. Once extricated, the young man was placed on a stretcher and transported inside a Brewster FD ambulance to a field at Brewster Town Hall to meet a Boston Medflight helicopter. It took a while to stabilize the patient so he could fly. At one point, medics needed to initiate CPR, according to radio transmissions. The patient was eventually airlifted to an off-Cape trauma center in critical condition. The following HN Video highlights the crash scene and rescue efforts, from the wreckage to inside the Boston Medflight helicopter. It also shows accident reconstruction experts investigating the scene. [HN VIDEO – PRESS PLAY]
