HYANNIS, MASSACHUSETTS – As you will hear in the following HN Video, Barnstable Police patrol officers are investigating the theft of a vehicle from a residence on Quaker Road this morning. A woman at the address apparently witnessed the vehicle being stolen and immediately called police. The stolen vehicle is described as a black Camaro with “a wing” on the back. The Camaro’s Massachusetts registration was said to be 4RP X15. The Camaro reportedly had a smashed passenger-side window. The stolen Camaro was believed to be spotted traveling north on Rte. 132 toward Rte. 6. at a high rate of speed with its lights turned off. The suspect was described as a male, approximately 5′ 8”, wearing a hoodie and a mask… The following HN “video” contains actual Barnstable and state police radio transmissions. At the time of this report, the stolen vehicle had not yet been recovered and the suspect is still at large.
