HYANNIS, MASSACHUSETTS – [HN PHOTO NOTES] – A 51-year-old male from Virginia is accused of throwing a brick through a Main Street pub window late last evening, according to police sources. Shortly before midnight, Barnstable Police squad cars were dispatched to the Duck Inn Pub right after a large bald man reportedly hurled a brick through one of the bar’s plate glass windows.  There were apparently no reported injuries, despite there being a number of bar patrons still inside. The man was believed to still be in the area and a description, including clothing colors, was given out to responding officers. Officers were quickly able to locate a suspect lurking about, down a nearby alleyway, where a witness allegedly identified him as the middle-aged, bald brick hurler in question. The suspect was placed under arrest and transported back to BPD Headquarters for booking on a vandalism charge. [No further details available at the time of this report… official updated details will be provided as they become available.] P.S. – Today’s Hytown Vignette is a brought to you by The Bourbon Street Jazz Band…  [CLICK IT/CRANK IT! The defendant is presumed to be innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
