***  WATCH ***  YARMOUTH POLICE LOOKING FOR DRIVER WHO FLED AFTER CRASHING INTO TREE

SOUTH YARMOUTH, MASSACHUSETTS –  [HN VIDEO NOTES]  –  Yarmouth police officers responded to a single vehicle crash into a tree on Wampanoag Rd. last evening at around 11:45 p.m.  The first officer to arrive radioed that the “operator took off” from the crash scene.  Responding cruisers began searching for the driver in the area, including a nearby apartment.  A Barnstable Police K9 unit responded to assist and began tracking to no avail.  The driver remained at large at the time of this report.  The YPD is investigating.  The following HN Video highlights the scene and includes police radio transmissions… [HN VIDEO –  PRESS PLAY]
