SOUTH YARMOUTH, MASSACHUSETTS – [HN VIDEO NOTES] – Three people were hurt after two vehicles collided at the intersection known as “Four Corners” (Rte. 28 & North Main Street) last evening. At around 11:30 p.m., police and firefighters were dispatched to what was initially described as being a three-vehicle crash with injuries… but it turned out to be just two vehicles involved. Both vehicles were heavily damaged, one struck a traffic light support pole. Three ambulances responded and three of the occupants were transported to Cape Cod Hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening. The entire intersection needed to be shut down and Route 28 traffic was diverted around the area while officials worked the scene. The Yarmouth PD is investigating the cause of the crash.
