HYANNIS, MASSACHUSETTS –  [HN VIDEO NOTES]  –  There were no evacuations and routine patients continued to arrive from across the Cape… At around 7:30 a.m. this morning, Hyannis Firefighters requested a “first alarm assignment” for a smoke condition caused by smoldering hydraulic fluid from a “blown line” in an elevator machine room, according to radio transmissions.  Oil absorbent was used to remove the smoldering hydraulic fluid, which set off a second smoke alarm as it was being removed the building and placed outside in a barrel, according to radio transmissions.  The following HN Video shows Hyannis FD handling the scene… [HN VIDEO –  PRESS PLAY]
