Cape Cod Adventures

One thing I enjoy most is taking a trip to Cape Cod. My go to place since I was little is Dennis, MA. It is located in the center of the cape. It seems to be one of the less popular towns on the cape but to me it is like a second home. Dennis has some of the best beaches on the cape, specifically Mayflower Beach. If I am looking for a good sunset, that is where I will be. My family and I go to the cape every summer for at least a week, sometimes longer, and we will occasionally go for holidays. Many people think the cape is overrated but in my opinion, it brings me peace and a fresh of breathe air. There is nothing better than the smell of Cape Cod air, it just has its own scent that is noticeable the second I roll the car windows down. My days on the cape usually consist of sitting on the beach for a couple hours, going on walks, bike riding, out to dinner, and simply just relaxing.              Cape Cod is not for everyone but for me it brings me happiness. Spending summer days on the beach with no care in the world. Not only is there a lot to do, but it is a great place to make memories with friends and family. My aunt has a house in West Dennis so most of the time I am with my aunt and cousins, either at the beach or on my cousins boat fishing. I am not much of a fisher but I will still go for the adventure and enjoyment. To top it off with my favorite place in West Dennis, the Sundae School. The best ice cream place and it is not a successful trip unless I go there at least once. The only downside is the long lines every time but it is still very much worth it. Although there are many other places I can go for vacation, Cape Cod will always be my go to.
