security patrol property check service

HYANNIS, Massachusetts – [DEVELOPING DETAILS] – The call came in that a man had just stolen about $1500 in merchandise from Macy’s at around 6:30 p.m. Friday evening… … the actual value of the recovered merchandise is estimated to be much higher, about $3000, maybe more, according to sources. Responding Barnstable Police patrol officers were updated that the man possibly fled with the merchandise in a white Cadillac. BPD dispatchers investigated a partial plate number provided by Macy’s loss prevention and advised responding officers the suspect vehicle could possibly be registered out of East Falmouth.  Moments later, a patrolman traveling along Route 28 toward Hyannis, spotted the suspect vehicle and conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Route 28 and Strawberry Hill Road. The driver and the passenger were detained by officers without incident. As you will see in the following HN Video, officers recovered men’s clothing from the vehicle, including expensive suit jackets, some valued at $500 a piece. The merchandise had allegedly just been stolen from Macy’s. As the investigation unfolded, the vehicle’s passenger was advised that he was under arrest. He was searched, secured in the backseat of a cruiser, and transported back to BPD Headquarters for booking. According to sources, he will likely be charged with Felony Larceny Over $1200.  A police source on scene said the suspect professes that the recovered clothing was his personal wardrobe.  HN is in the process of reaching out to the BPD for official, updated details.  (The driver was not arrested and released from the scene…) The following HN Video highlights the arrest… [HN VIDEO – PRESS PLAY] P.S. – Today’s Hytown Vignette is a brought to you by ZZ Top…  [CLICK IT/CRANK IT!
