FALMOUTH PD MEDIA STATEMENT:  Motor Vehicle vs Pedestrian w/PI – 12/20/2023 The Falmouth Police Department is investigating a Motor Vehicle Crash involving a Female Pedestrian in a Marked Cross Walk in front of Osteria La Civetta located at #133 Main Street, Falmouth MA.  Witness Reports crash approximately 4:09 PM when the Chevy Pickup Truck was making a left hand turn from Post Office Road onto Main Street resulting in an impact with the Female Pedestrian in the crosswalk. The Female Pedestrian was identified as a 67 Year Old Florida Resident visiting Falmouth.  She would be transported by Falmouth Fire Rescue Department to the Falmouth Hospital Emergency Room.  A Med-Flight would transport her to a Regional Trauma Center for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash. The Chevy Pickup Truck was being operated by a 19 Year Male East Falmouth Resident.  The Male Operator remained on scene and fully cooperated with the Police Investigation. BCSO CIO responded to scene for photographs and evidence collection.  Upon completion of Field Investigation the Chevy Pickup was transported to the Falmouth Police Department to be secured for further examination as the investigation progresses. This incident remains under investigation, no further information is available at this time.
