SANDWICH, Massachusetts – [HN NOTES] – HN began receiving information last evening that a Dennis Police Officer was arrested for drunk driving yesterday afternoon. According to the Dennis Police Department Facebook page, Sarah Lake was sworn in as a police patrol officer on their department in April of 2021. “Before coming to Dennis, Officer Lake had been a Patrol Officer with the Truro Police Department since 2017 where she received additional training in Sexual Assault Investigations, Background Investigations, Field Training, Crime Prevention, and Community Crisis Intervention. Prior to her employment with the Truro Police Department Officer Lake worked at the Sandwich Police Department as a dispatcher,” the DPD Facebook post read.
