SANDWICH POLICE CONFIRM FEMALE DRIVER KILLED IN EARLY MORNING CRASH, DOG ALSO “DECEASED” ACCORDING TO RADIO TRANSMISSIONS: EMERGENCY SOUNDBITES

SANDWICH, Massachusetts –  Police confirm that a female driver was killed during an early morning crash in their town.  The single vehicle crash into the woods happened on Route 130 near the intersection with Dogwood Drive.  According to emergency radio transmissions, a dog was also said be deceased at the crash scene.  Route 130 was shut down in the area for period of time as an accident reconstruction team worked the scene, as indicated in the following soundbites.  The investigation is being led by the Sandwich Police Department (CPAC may have also been notified…).  Sandwich police say they will be putting out a press release later today.
