BARNSTABLE, Massachusetts – Officials put out a Silver Alert for a missing Barnstable Couple late yesterday. According to the alert bulletin from the Barnstable Police Department and the Commonwealth Fusion Center, Kendra Smith, 71, and Thomas Sequin, 73, are both considered to be missing from the Town of Barnstable. The Silver Alert reads: “The Barnstable Police Department is attempting to locate Kendra SMITH (71 YOA) and Thomas SEQUIN (73 YOA). Their vehicle was last seen on 23 September 2023 in the area of Old Oyster Rd., Cotuit, MA. SMITH is described as 5’4”, 150 lbs., with gray hair. SMITH suffers serious memory impairment. SEQUIN is described as 5’4”, 155 lbs., with gray hair. Additional information gathered from the investigation suggests they may be endangered. Anyone with information regarding Kendra SMITH or Thomas SEQUIN is asked to contact the Barnstable Police Department at (508) 775-0387.” HN reached out to a Barnstable Police patrol supervisor early this morning and there was no additional information.
