Ryan vs. Biden - Reality Takes Over

Paul Ryan, Romney's VP choice, has been in Washington fouling up the works and doing his best to take the U.S. back to the 1950s for 20 years or so. It would be a mistake to think of him as an outside-the-beltway kind of politician. He is not. He is a pro. He accepts money from large corporations and does their bidding - just another one of the thieves under the dome. He can play "cute" really well, though. Armed with a phoney budget proposal which everyone who is anyone in finance has called fake, he will appear in a debate against the real VP, Joe Biden on Thursday. My guess is that, if Biden can hold back from punching Ryan in the mouth, Biden will win the debate.

To win he merely has to detail the lies Romney told in the first debate. He also has to study Ryan's cruel budget, let U.S. citizens know that this aw shucks, Dumbo-eared nightcrawler wants to cut programs that would literally shorten the life of your grandparents, maybe even you. And your children. He will tell you that social secirity and medicare and free meals for undernourished children have got to be cut. Why you ask?

So that money can be transferred to the exeptionally wealthy for tax breaks. This is not a joke - Romney and Ryan are perfectly willing to put the lives of millions of U.S. citrizens in jeapordy, possibly leading to the premature deaths of some of them, just to give their buddies a tax break.

Their plans are disgusting.

So Biden has to let the cat out of the bag on Thursday night. He has to illlustrate what the Medicare plan would become under these thieves, how the emergency rooms would fill up, costing 5 to 6 times more than Obamacare. He has to let the hungry know that Ryan does not believe in food stamps, or, for that matter, just about any government program. But Ryan would bring the full weight of the government down hard on any woman who wanted the right to control her own body. Ryan even believes in something called "personhood," that would give the fetus the same rights as a walking and talking person, or a baby.

Ryan has almost perfected a good personality. You have to look him right in the eye to realize that it is all an act. Basically, he is a scary guy who belives in the same 47 percent -half the U.S. population are losers - as Romney believes. It is hard to tell if he is leading Romney or Romney is leading him. Either way, it is the same thing,. The other day Romney's campaign staff went out of their way to tell a "story" of Romney's sons imploring him to go "back to the middle," and Romney even seemed more relaxed and composed afterwards.

But this story is another obvious Romney lie. Romney, the ultimate changling, still has one of the most right wing people in the nation (Ryan) just a heartbeat away from the presidency. How can he really "go to the middle" when his VP choice is a political Frankenstein with big ears and a conviction that almost half of Americans are bums? But the news media fell for it.

So Biden has to take this man apart on Thursday. He has to expose him for what he is - a phony. He has to come right after him. He can't allow him to hide behind his usual non-answers. You have noticed that Ryan does not detail anything. Biden does. He is going to sit there on Thursday and demand answers from Ryan.

It should be fun to watch since Ryan has no answers.
