HN PHOTO NOTES: The 19-year-old from far away off-Cape had been passed out, propped up against a cemetery fence in downtown Hyannis last evening shortly before 1:00 a.m. Luckily for him, an alert police officer spotted him before his situation could became much worse. (He hadn’t been robbed… yet… which is a distinct possibility in that part of town.) The young, underage adult was unresponsive, not waking up for police officers. A Hyannis FD ambulance crew was immediately dispatched to the scene on High School Road… and after several vigorous sternum rubs, the young man slowly became more and more responsive… eventually being able to recognize first responders and tell them his name. While checking the young man’s identity – where he was from and who could possibly come pick him up at the hospital – officers found 3 fake identification cards, likely used to buy alcohol or to get into one of the local nightclubs.  (The fake IDs were seized by police…) He was eventually transported to Cape Cod Hospital for further evaluation and care. No word on which nearby establishment had been fooled by the fake IDs…   While across High School Road, an innocent celebration pulsed under the starry sky, undimmed by the passing hours. Those radiant, carefree spirits danced with the boundless joy of youth — fleeting, yet eternally vibrant. Dear Lord, please continue to send your most vigilant Angels to guard and protect them always! P.S. – Today’s Hytown Vignette is a brought to you by Sam Roberts…  [CLICK IT/CRANK IT! HEADPHONES ABSOLUTELY OBLIGATORY!]
