Upon arriving on scene Troopers observed a 33-year-old male laying on his back with a large pool of “reddish-brown substance” around him. It was observed that the victim was suffering from multiple injuries to his upper body. The victim was transported by MedFlight to a Boston area hospital for treatment. As HN reported May 19, 2025, the male victim was suffering very serious wounds… and while responding to the Medflight helicopter landing zone, EMTs could be heard describing that the patient was suffering “multiple stab wounds,” along with trauma from “exiting a moving vehicle.” At one point, the patient in his early 30s was described as having an “arterial bleed.” Soon after the alleged highway mayhem, Cape & Islands District Attorney Robert J. Galibois announced that Tatiana Jacobs was being charged for her involvement in the stabbing of a 33-year-old male, in Harwich MA. At her initial May 27, 2025 arraignment in Orleans District Court, Judge Robert Welsh ordered Tatiana Jacobs, 26, of Hyannis, be held in custody on “dangerousness.” Jacobs had been initially charged with Armed Assault to Murder at her initial arraignment, after it was learned the 33-year-old male victim had survived what were described as critical, life-threatening wounds. As you will hear in the following HN Video from the initial May 27, 2025 arraignment, the prosecution alleged Jacobs had been involved romantically with the victim after initially denying she knew him. The prosecution then read allegations that Jacobs became enraged upon learning the victim had gotten another woman pregnant. The other woman was said to be the victim’s wife. The prosecution presented new information at the May 27, 2025 arraignment, describing a “brutal stabbing,” and arguing that Jacobs should be considered dangerous. As you will hear in the following HN arraignment video, witnesses reportedly described what they believed to be Jacobs either punching or stabbing the victim while he was on the ground severely injured on Route 6.  According to the prosecution, a witness who knew both Jacobs and the victim alleged he heard the two fighting via a snapchat call the night of the incident… when Jacobs is alleged to have been heard threatening the victim, saying, “I’m going to #&%*@^%! you up.  How dare you make me look a fool… if I had my gun on me, I would hit you in the face with it…”  all while the victim allegedly could be heard saying “calm down, calm down…” and then at some point Jacobs could allegedly be heard saying, “He jumped out of the car.”  The witness/friend of the victim then reportedly arrived at the crime scene on Route 6, where he asked Jacobs what happened.  Jacobs allegedly responded, “Because he got his #&%*@^%! pregnant and didn’t tell me.”  Jacobs then allegedly told the witness, “He hit me first, that’s why I stabbed him.” At the initial May 27, 2025 arraignment, the defense tried arguing that Jacobs should not be held in custody because she has no prior record… and that she was allegedly hit first… and that she was acting in self-defense. Upon considering arguments by the defense, while also reviewing new information put forth by the prosecution, Judge Robert Welsh ordered that Tatiana Jacobs, 26, of Hyannis, be held in custody on “dangerousness.”  He noted that it was a serious incident with serious injuries.  He also noted that when the defendant was interviewed there was an alleged “level of deception.”  Judge Welsh concluded with, “I am going to hold her under the dangerousness statute… there is no less-restrictive alternative… it will be for the 120-day period…” The following HN Video shows the initial May 27, 2025 arraignment in its entirety. [HN VIDEO – PRESS PLAY] The following are actual photocopies of parts of the arraignment report initially filed in May by Trooper Matthew Cote of the Massachusetts State Police. According to the report, the entire incident may have started in a church parking lot in Hyannis (HN has redacted some of the witness information for the time being):                     * HN NOTE:  The defendant is presumed to be innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.   P.S. – Today’s Hytown Vignette is a brought to you by KISS…  [CLICK IT/CRANK IT!
