HYANNIS, MASSACHUSETTS – [HN VIDEO NOTES] –  “Ain’t Worth the Whiskey” was on everyone’s mind after a full-on brawl broke out at a Cole Swindell concert last evening around 10:00 p.m. As you will see and hear in the following HN Video, squad cars rushed to the Melody Tent after a police officer working a paid concert detail suddenly radioed, “WE’VE GOT A FIGHT!” Two men were arrested. Both had attended the concert together in the same group. And – for one reason or another – both were unable to behave themselves, according to police sources. According to Lieutenant Jason Labor of the Barnstable Police Department, Michael Griffin (see above HN image), 46, from Lakeville, was charged with felony Assault & Battery on a Person Age 60 or Over, and Assault & Battery on a Police Officer. The second arrest was a 51-year-old male from Greenville, Rhode Island. He was charged with Disorderly Conduct, according to Lieutenant Labor. Both suspects were still in custody at the time of this report, waiting to be bailed out by a mutual friend who also attended the concert. Whiskey has not been ruled out as possibly playing a role in the evening’s chaos… … and both men are presumed to be innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law. The following HN Video contains police radio traffic and footage from the scene. [HN VIDEO – PRESS PLAY]   P.S. – Today’s Hytown Vignette is brought to you by Cole Swindell (of course)…  [CLICK IT/CRANK IT! HEADPHONES ABSOLUTELY OBLIGATORY!]
