ORLEANS, MASSACHUSETTS –  Judge Robert Welsh ordered today in Orleans District Court that Tatiana Jacobs, 26, of Hyannis, be held in custody on “dangerousness.” Last week, Cape & Islands District Attorney Robert J. Galibois announced that Jacobs was being charged and arraigned for her involvement in the stabbing of a 33-year-old male, in Harwich MA. (CLICK HERE for earlier HN report.)  On Sunday May 18, 2025, at approximately 8:14 p.m., Troopers with the Massachusetts State Police were dispatched to Route 6 eastbound around mile marker 82 in Harwich for a report that a party had fallen out of a vehicle. Upon arriving on scene Troopers observed a male laying on his back with a large pool of “reddish-brown substance” around him. It was observed that the victim was suffering from multiple injuries to his upper body. The victim was transported by MedFlight to a Boston area hospital for treatment. As HN reported earlier, the male victim was suffering very serious wounds, “while responding to the landing zone, EMTs could be heard describing the patient to the responding MedFlight helicopter.   According to radio transmissions, the patient was described as a male, approximately 32-years-old, approximately 185 lbs., suffering “multiple stab wounds,” along with trauma from ‘exiting a moving vehicle.’ At one point, the patient was described as having an ‘arterial bleed.’” Jacobs was charged with Armed Assault to Murder. And the victim reportedly has survived what were initial described as critical, life-threatening wounds… As you will hear in the following HN video, the prosecution alleges Jacobs was romantically involved with the victim after initially denying that she really knew him. The prosecution read allegations that Jacobs became enraged upon learning the victim had gotten his wife pregnant. The following are actual photocopies of parts of the arraignment report filed by Trooper Matthew Cote of the Massachusetts State Police. According to the report, the entire incident may have started in a church parking lot in Hyannis (HN has redacted some of the witness information for the time being):                     The prosecution presented new information at today’s hearing, describing a “brutal stabbing…” and arguing that Jacobs should be considered dangerous.  As you will hear in the following HN Video, witnesses described what they believed to be Jacobs either punching or stabbing the victim while he was on the ground severely injured on Route 6.  According to the prosecution, a witness who knew both Jacobs and the victim alleged he heard the two fighting via a snapchat call the night of the incident… when Jacobs is alleged to have been heard threatening the victim, saying, “I’m going to #&%*@^%! you up.  How dare you make me look a fool… if I had my gun on me, I would hit you in the face with it…”  all while the victim allegedly could be heard saying “calm down, calm down…” and then at some point Jacobs could allegedly be heard saying, “He jumped out of the car.”  The witness/friend of the victim then reportedly arrived at the crime scene on Route 6, where he asked Jacobs what happened.  Jacobs allegedly responded, “Because he got his #&%*@^%! pregnant and didn’t tell me.”  Jacobs then allegedly told the witness, “He hit me first, that’s why I stabbed him.” The defense had argued that Jacobs should not be held in custody because she has no prior record… and that she was allegedly hit first… and that she was acting in self-defense. After reviewing the new information put forth by the prosecution, Judge Robert Welsh ordered that Tatiana Jacobs, 26, of Hyannis, be held in custody on “dangerousness.”  He noted that it was a serious incident with serious injuries.  He also noted that when the defended was interviewed there was an alleged “level of deception.”  Judge Welsh concluded with, “I am going to hold her under the dangerousness statute… there is no less-restrictive alternative… it will be for the 120-day period…” The following HN Video shows today’s hearing in its entirety…  [HN VIDEO  –  PRESS PLAY] P.S. – Today’s Hytown Vignette is a brought to you by Sammy Johns…  [CLICK IT/CRANK IT!
